Disconnected
In Disconnected I captured random people in a resting area of a shopping mall. I spent a few days training myself to draw them from a bird’s eye view. It was not until later, that I discovered something unifying the sketches: all my models were occupied with their cellphones and tablets, revealing the contradictory effects of technology and social media.

My Neighbourhood Jackets
To create My Neighbourhood Jackets I collected the leaves from trees and bushes in my neighbourhood and eco-printed them on a rayon fabric given away by it's previous owner. It was important to make the production of these garments as sustainable as possible. Using natural materials found locally and working with a second-hand fabric allowed me to achieve that goal. Both jackets are based on traditional Japanese kimono patterns, which makes them zero waste garments.
