Conversation on Disagreement

"Conversation on Disagreement" illustrates two polarized points of view. For that reason, I used primarily black and white ink. The background, however, is printed as a slow gradient between the two opposite values. I wanted there to be room for greyness, for something in between, for a possible compromise.

The two polarized opinions are represented by lines arranged in specific ways. The one on the left is more organic, unconfined, and chaotic. The lines interact with one another and are constantly changing. The one on the right is relatively rigid, repetitive, and consistent with its direction. It is not to be easily disturbed.

The orange elements represent the heated moments in the discussion, the arguments that are pushed too far. Orange lines are words that become aggressive and offensive, which unfortunately happen in many conversations.
